Welcome to Salty AF Pilates! Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing or using our website and services. By visiting our website and/or booking classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

General Information

By accessing and using this website and the services offered by Salty AF Pilates, you agree to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. Salty AF Pilates reserves the right to modify or amend these terms at any time without notice. Please review this page periodically for updates.

COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 DISCLAIMER – I acknowledge that Salty AF Pilates, LLC, its Instructors and all practitioners at the facility where services are rendered adhere to the CDC recommendations of preventative measures to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus to the best of their abilities, including but not limited to social distancing, face coverings and disinfecting. I acknowledge the contagious nature of the COVID-19 virus and that no guarantee exists regarding whether or not I may contract COVID-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the COVID-19 virus may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, staff and other clients. I acknowledge that I increase my risk of exposure to COVID-19 by participating in services rendered. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while in attendance.

Pregnancy & Injuries

In all cases, please check with your doctor. I am not a medical doctor or physical therapist, and my sessions are not intended to treat or cure any back conditions. It is designed to provide a strength, stretch, balance framework for your healing. In all cases, your health is your responsibility.  The class is not appropriate for you if: you’re on painkillers daily and intend to use them during practice, you are pregnant without doctors approval, you are unable to get up and down from the ground unassisted, your injury occurred less than 2 weeks ago, your injury affects your ability to walk.

Cancellation Policy

All sessions and classes are 45 minutes in length. Individual and Group session cancellations require a notice that is received by e-mail or text within 48 hours from the appointment time. If you do not show or do not cancel or reschedule your class/session within the cancelation period, you will be charged the full rate of class plus fees. Membership can be canceled at anytime but auto pay take 30 days notice to cancel out. All sessions and packages are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Packages are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Scheduled classes and Memberships may be cancelled with 48 hours’ notice to the studio from the client with out any fees. If notice of cancellation for a scheduled session is not received within 48 hours prior to a scheduled class or you NO Show, the client agrees to pay a $25 Late Cancel Fee plus the client will be charge in full for the No Show, regardless of membership type and agreement. All Scheduled sessions may be cancelled with 48 hours’ notice to the studio from the client without any charge or fee. Any scheduled class or membership client that Late Cancels or No Shows will be charged the additional fees on top of the monthly membership.

Physical Condition of Client

The client represents, warrants, and agrees that the client is in good physical condition and that the client has no disability, impairment, or ailment that will prevent the client from engaging in active or passive exercise or that should be detrimental to the client’s health, safety, comfort, or physical condition should the client engage in active or passive exercise. The client acknowledges that the studio has neither made claims as to medical results nor suggested medical treatment to the client. The client acknowledges that the studio recommended that the client consult a physician prior to beginning this exercise program. The client understands that it is the client’s responsibility to inform the studio of any pain experienced before, during or after participating in the exercise program so that the exercise may be immediately terminated.

Waiver and Idemnification

Client is familiar with and recognizes the danger and risk of injury to person and or property which may result from the use of studio’s facilities, including, without limitation, injury from slipping and falling, excess fatigue or stress, muscle strain, or any other unforeseen cause. With full knowledge and understanding of such risks, client agrees to use the facilities and the studio’s services rendered to the client at his or her own risk and PERSONALLY ASSUMES THE RISK for any harm, injury, or damage that may occur as a result from use of trainer’s facilities. Client hereby fully and forever RELEASES, RELINQUISHES, ACQUITS, AND DISCHARGES Salty AF Pilates and trainer, as well as any owners, managers, employees, or agents (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action and rights (whether known, unknown, contingent, accrued, inchoate, or otherwise) which client may have against Salty AF Pilates, trainer, or other Released Parties arising out of or relating to Salty AF Pilates’ or trainer’s passive or active negligence. Client expressly warrants and represents and does hereby state and represent that no promise or agreement which is not herein expressed has been made to him/her in executing this Release and Waiver of Liability, and that the client is not relying upon any statement or any representation of any of the Released Parties.
